Process Management

The day-to-day management of the business is where the “rubber hits the road”.  Excellent process management requires:

  • Managing your business process as integrated system, to avoid optimising the parts at the expense of the whole.
  • Avoiding silos by driving cross-departmental Collaboration
  • Continually seeking to uncover and minimise the waste in all processes – for example, minimising inventory, and correcting defects as close as possible to source (Lean Manufacturing).
  • Using Standardised Work practices to embed best practice reduce variation between operators.
  • Using Root Cause Analysis based on good quality data to identify and correct issues.
