Core Business Process
The Core Business Process sits at the centre of the BusinX Framework…just as it sits at the centre of your business. It outlines the essential process by which the leadership team turn their vision into reality. In some companies, this process will be formal and explicit; in others it will be implicit.
The Core Business Process encompasses all the systems and process you use to:
- decide what you need to do to maximize stakeholder value,
- coordinate those activities, and
- deliver the value.
For simplicity, it is shown as a neat, step-by-step process… in reality it is anything but. Many of the steps will take place concurrently, and with multiple feedback and recycle loops. Inconveniently, the world doesn’t stand still while you are going through the process, and plans are sometimes out of date before they are even finished. That is why, underpinning the process, is the requirement for ongoing monitoring and adjustment…of plans, targets and actions.
